Selected works will receive a cachet ranging from €500 to €1,100 (based on the number of performers on stage) and partial support for travel expenses, compete in front of numerous Italian and international professionals (theatre and festival directors, dance networks coordinators, programmers, residency centres, critics and scholars) for several monetary prizes and the possibility of receiving touring and artist residency opportunities.
Placing the body at the center of critical exchange, the festival approaches the short format not as a limitation, but as an accessible entry point into broader, more inclusive conversations. In contrast to fast-paced showcase platforms, Teatri Riflessi provides artists with a longer stay, transforming geographic isolation into a focused space of encounter that maximizes cultural impact on a peripheral territory. This extended presence allows participants to move beyond brief stage appearances into dedicated feedback sessions, roundtables, and sustained, horizontal dialogue with both international professionals and local audiences.
