Theme 2027: VIBRANCE – The Pulse of a Living World
With Vibrance, Rotterdam Photo chooses a shift in perspective. In an era where crisis forms the dominant narrative, the festival focuses on what continues to flow, pulsate and connect. Not as a denial of what causes friction, but as a conscious choice to look at where life intensifies, elevates and breaks out.
Photographers and visual storytellers are invited to submit a photographic project responding to the theme through one of five curatorial strands:
Urban Rhythms
Fragile Vitality
Cultural Pulse
Digital Vibrance
Inner Frequencies
The festival
Rotterdam Photo takes place 17 to 21 March 2027 during Rotterdam Art Week, in the public spaces of Rotterdam, and welcomes over 10,000 visitors.
