✧ Sign Up and Create an Artit Portfolio: Register on our platform and create your artist portfolio. Provide essential details such as your name, contact information, social media profiles, a website link - if available, and a brief artist biography. This allows us and the Cream Athens team to gain insight into your background and artistic journey.
✧ Submit Your Artwork: To apply, submit artworks that have multiples (2+ works under the same theme or style). All two-dimensional and three-dimensional work is accepted - such as ceramics, prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures, textiles etc. There is no limitation on how many projects or how many images per project you can submit. For each piece, please offer a thoughtful and detailed description. This information provides context and insight into your artistic process. More specifically, you’ll need to include each piece’s title, creation date, dimensions (in cm), medium used and price.
✧ Mindful Selection: When choosing which artworks to submit, select pieces that prioritise the quality and impact of your work, and demonstrate your skill, creativity, and ability to engage and inspire viewers. Focus on your best works that you believe would make you stand out.
✧ Expand Your Portfolio: Upload additional artwork to your portfolio, if you wish to give the Artit audience a better understanding of your overall style, values, preferred thematic interests, etc. This is your chance to showcase different facets of your artistic expression and have all your work compiled in one place for everyone to see. These can include pieces that align with the theme.
✧ Confirm Your Exhibition Participation: If you are selected by the Cream team for this opportunity, you’ll be notified via email. A small contribution fee of £30 (VAT included) will be asked as a final step of the application process. The respective funds will be used to foster the exhibition’s scope further within the creative industry. Please note that the fee is per artist and not per artwork. No additional fees or charges will fall to the artists after selection. All exhibition production costs are covered by Cream Athens. Shipment of works is the responsibility of the artist.
