✧ Sign Up and Create Your Portfolio: Register on our platform and craft your artist portfolio. Provide essential details such as your name, contact information, social media profiles, and a brief artist biography. This allows us to gain insight into your background and artistic journey.
✧ Submit Your Artwork: Select artworks that resonate with the themes of the environment, climate justice and socially engaged practices. For each piece, offer a thoughtful and detailed description, including the title, medium used, and dimensions of the work. This information provides context and insight into your artistic process.
✧ Showcase Thoughtful Creativity: When choosing which artworks to submit, consider how each piece reflects your unique interpretation of the theme. Prioritise the quality and impact of your work. Select pieces that demonstrate your skill, creativity, and ability to engage and inspire viewers.
✧ Expand Your Portfolio: While your primary submission holds significance, our jury seeks to understand your artistic practice holistically. Upload additional artworks to your portfolio. These can include pieces that align with the theme or showcase different facets of your artistic expression. This enables the jury to grasp your overall style and thematic interests.
✧ Finalise Your Application: Artists need to complete their Vienna-residency application by filling out a dedicated Google form and providing us with additional information, such as a Cover Letter, a proposal for the project and more.
