How can we enhance youth workers' abilities to support cultural and creative entrepreneurship? This initiative empowers NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) individuals by fostering their creativity and entrepreneurial skills through a non-formal learning ecosystem and motivating them to transform innovative ideas into viable business ventures within the cultural sector. A comprehensive course, available in six languages and piloted across five European countries, alongside a digital handbook and scrapbook, inspires young minds equipping them for success in the creative economy.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES

Empowering Youth for Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship: Unleashing Potential, Equipping Minds, and Inspiring Innovation.

An Engaging and Inspiring Course

Comprehensive course material will be developed to encourage the youth to unleash their potential in the cultural and creative economy. The course will be available in six languages and will be piloted to a total of 80 NEET young persons aged 18-29, in Europe.

An Educational Handbook for Youth Workers

This handbook will be an insightful resource in the hands of youth workers that will fully acquaint them with how youth can harness their innovation and steer it in cultural and creative entrepreneurship, how to integrate concepts in their work and how to guide young people with the ultimate aim to reap the benefits of cultural and creative entrepreneurship for labour market inclusion of the NEET youth. The handbook published in digital format in six languages and available online will be a prime educational resource for youth workers and practitioners, and online seminars will further be implemented.

A Digital Scrapbook for Cultural and Creative Economy

This online publication with links to audiovisual materials, will be designed and produced in collaboration with the young minds participating in the course, which will present their project journey and showcase their ideas and works. This result will be available in six languages and the final scrapbook will allow young persons to present their work and to kick off their entrepreneurial endeavours.

Our areas of expertise include: Creativity & Entrepreneurship: focusing on reskilling & upskilling and social entrepreneurship through arts as a means to foster people’s creativity and sense of initiative. Social Inclusion: supporting marginalized groups to integrate into society, including migrants, refugees, victims of violence, trafficking, and other vulnerable populations. Sustainability: creating educational tools to address climate change and raise awareness on the importance of green living. Mental Health & Wellbeing: promoting mental health, empowerment, and wellness.

INCOMA

INCOMA

INCOMA is a training and research centre based in Seville (Spain) with extensive know-how and experience in the development and coordination of international cooperation projects mainly funded within the framework of EU programmes, especially in the field of education, training and research. The INCOMA group is composed of a multicultural and committed team with relevant experience in transnational cooperation projects funded through different EU programmes (including Erasmus+, AMIF, H2020, EaSI or ENI), as well as through other international programmes (such as EEA grants and several national initiatives promoting mobility for educational purposes in EU countries). INCOMA’s activity is especially devoted to the development of social innovation projects, with special focus on targeting groups at risk or with special difficulties to enter the labour market, namely young people, women and citizens with a migrant background.
