Curriculum for professionals

The Curriculum on how to support young people with DS/ASD to become agents of social change through art is addressed to art and mental health professionals working with young people with DS/ASD. It includes modules like ‘Building the Capacity for Self-Reflection through Art’ and ‘Artistic Visual Communication for People with DS/ASD.

E-learning “Express Yourself” platform

This interactive digital platform consists of two spaces: a) Learning materials for professionals supporting young people with DS/ASD and b) the ‘Express Yourself’ digital platform (Applied education) for youth with mental health disabilities to communicate with one another, share ideas, and virtually display artworks to raise awareness and generate change for issues challenging them and the communities they represent.

Digital Toolkit

The Toolkit is an interactive guide that helps people with mental health disabilities understand the basics of art and social entrepreneurship. It’s a practical tool that they can use to express themselves and communicate with others in a meaningful way.

Amazing Youth is a civil for-profit enterprise focused on building civil society and created to serve youth and social workers, youth policy makers, experts and volunteers with different levels of skills to create and actively participate in civic activities. Amazing youth was founded in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic as a hopeful message of union and reconstruction of our community. Our main goal, through spiritual development, is to identify and address environmental habits that harm the planet, to defend the rights of citizens across the board in our society, to eliminate inequalities within it, and to give a way out for people with fewer opportunities to integrate smoothly into society.

KMOP Policy Center was established by KMOP, in 2020, with the aim to conduct in-depth research, produce impactful, evidence-based policies, and advocate on social issues. Capitalizing on KMOP’s long experience in the provision of social services, KMOP Policy Center analyzes, designs and recommends policies that promote social welfare, individual well-being and equal opportunities, bringing real change for individuals and communities. In particular, our mission is to provide comprehensive insights on designing policies with a positive social impact.

Social Inclusion: supporting marginalized groups to integrate into society, including migrants, refugees, victims of violence, trafficking, and other vulnerable populations. Sustainability: creating educational tools to address climate change and raise awareness on the importance of green living. Mental Health & Wellbeing: promoting mental health, empowerment, and wellness.

CESIE is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation based in Palermo (Italy) and established in 2001. The organization is committed to promote the cultural, social, educational and economic development at local, national, European and international levels. CESIE contributes to growth and development through the active participation of people, civil society and institutions, always valuing diversity. Inspired by the work and life of Danilo Dolci, CESIE focuses their actions on the research of social needs and challenges and the use of innovative learning approaches and creative thinking techniques that stimulate idea generation, problem-solving and the capacity of thinking out of the box individually and in group. In this way, the organisation actively connects research with action through the use of formal and non-formal learning approaches. Moreover, CESIE benefits from a broad network of partners with 3000+ civil society organisations, youth centres, social actors, schools, universities, research centres, public authorities, enterprises and entrepreneurs in the world.

CARDET (Centre for Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, research and development organization based in Cyprus. It is one of the leading research and development centres in the Euro-Mediterranean region, with global expertise in project design and implementation, capacity building, and e-learning. CARDET is independently affiliated with universities and institutions from around the world, such as Yale University, the University of Nicosia and the International Council of Educational Media. CARDET has completed numerous projects relating to the development of capacity building and planning in education and VET, youth support, adult learning, literacies, digital tools, eLearning, educational technology, and social integration of marginalized groups and seniors.
