This work explores the tension between physical escape and psychological presence. Although the figure has stepped away from the workplace, he remains emotionally tethered to it. Drawing from my own experience working in high-pressure corporate environments, the painting reflects on the difficulty of disconnecting and the forms of detachment that emerge in response to professional pressure.
