T-Rex
2019
15.95 x 1.05 x 0.1
"T-Rex" is part of he T series, a series of paintings which allows me to describe the “man” in a way which I think isn’t present enough yet the history of painting. These are male nudes, not depicting a conquering man, idol, god, or an erotic man. I strive to create the imagery of a man without a shell, plagued by doubt and bewilderment. A sensitive, fragile man whom we observe facing himself in the scenes of his intimacy. The nudity here is not used to glorify or to desire but to show with bare honesty.
