Portrait Artists of the Year | 2024

ARTIT is thrilled to announce its 6th International Call focusing on portraiture. This is an opportunity for artists worldwide to showcase their work and celebrate diversity, creativity, and innovation in portrait art. The finalists will be featured in the 19th issue of our prestigious Voice of Artists publication, titled "Portrait Artists of the Year 2024." This open-access, non-commercial issue will spotlight established and emerging artists from around the world, showcasing diverse styles and perspectives that push the boundaries of portraiture and figurative art.

Your artworks will be featured in the publication and promoted across ARTIT’s online channels and platofrm reaching a broad audience of art enthusiasts and curators. We welcome two-dimensional visual artworks (excluding photography) in any style, from realism to abstraction, and encourage participation from artists of all backgrounds and experiences.

Submissions are open to all who wish to explore and present their unique perspectives on the human form in today's world. Whether you specialize in realism, abstraction, or any other style, we are eager to see how you interpret the human form and express your unique perspective. We believe in art as a powerful tool for self-expression and a trigger of change, and we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in all forms of art. Therefore, we encourage artists from different cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds to participate and share their views on what it means to portray and represent the human form in today's world.

Register on the ARTIT platform and set up your artist portfolio. Include your name, social media profiles, and a concise artist bio. This helps introduce you to our global audience and provides insight into your artistic journey.

✧ Upload Your Artworks
Add your artworks to your portfolio, including clear descriptions for each piece. Be sure to specify the title, medium, and dimensions, and share what each artwork represents to you. We encourage you to showcase additional works to give our jury a fuller understanding of your artistic vision and style.

✧ Submit Your Work to the Call
Select the pieces that best reflect your artistic identity and align with the theme of the call. Ensure your submission captures your personal connection to the subject and resonates with the spirit of the call.

During the evaluation process, our jury will carefully review each submission for the Portrait Artists of the Year 2024 call for art, considering several key criteria. First and foremost, they will assess the artistic excellence and originality demonstrated in each portrait.
