Open Call for Artist Grant

Goddessarts Magazine continues its series of calls for art offering a generous artist grant to the chosen artist(s). Besides the grant money, the recipient or recipients will also get a free feature in our Goddessarts Magazine and will be included in one virtual group exhibition.

How does the grant work?

The grant will be given in full to one or more artists, depending on how many people apply. In order to be considered, you have to contribute €20 to the grant pot.

*Please note, Goddessarts Magazine does not take any of the amount that goes into the pot! How can artists participate? You should have a platform, where we can see your body of work: website, social media (you can write those in the form when contributing the fee, or you can also write us an e-mail. Please once you create your portfolio on Artit, and submit your work, visit the GA Mag website to contribute to the grant pot.

By submitting your work, you will automatically considered for GA Mag’s gallery of selected artists. All mediums and styles are welcome, whilst artists of all backgrounds, at any stage of their career, are encouraged to apply.

To apply for the opportunity, follow these simple steps:

✧ Sign Up and Create an Artit Portfolio: Register on our platform and create your artist portfolio. Provide essential details such as your name, contact information, social media profiles, a website link - if available, and a brief artist biography. This allows us and the Goddessarts Magazine team to gain insight into your background and artistic journey.

✧ Submit Your Artwork: To apply, submit your artwork relating to GA Mag’s theme. For each piece, please offer a thoughtful and detailed description. This information provides context and insight into your artistic process. More specifically, you can include each piece’s title, creation date, dimensions, and medium used.

✧ Mindful Selection: When choosing which artworks to submit, select quality pieces that relate to the theme, and demonstrate your skill, creativity, and ability to engage and inspire viewers. Focus on your best works that you believe would make you stand out. 

✧ Expand Your Portfolio: Upload additional artwork to your portfolio, if you wish to give the Artit audience a better understanding of your overall style, values, preferred thematic interests, etc. This is your chance to showcase different facets of your artistic expression and have all your work compiled in one place for everyone to see.

✧ Complete Your Application: To finalise your submission, all applicants are required to pay a small fee of €20, which will go straight into the Grant pot for the winner(s). To complete the process, upon sending your submissions via Artit, please visit GA Mag’s platform to sort out the payment.

Who is eligible?

Everyone can apply: young, old, self-taught or not, every background and ethnicity is welcome. Moreover, artists using any medium can apply.

The Goddessarts Magazine Editor will review works thoroughly and select the winner based on the received works’ quality and originality.
