Art has the power to move people and create lasting change. That's why we're calling on artists from around the world to help us raise awareness and inspire action to end violence against women and girls. With our call for art, we seek to amplify the voices of survivors, advocates, and allies and help break the cycle of violence. Our goal is to provide a platform for artists to express their solidarity with the cause and to help drive real change. As part of this call for art, we invite artists to submit their works that reflect on the experiences of survivors of violence, the impact on families and communities, and the hope and healing that comes from breaking the cycle of violence. We welcome all forms of art, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, and mixed media. The selected artworks will be featured in our upcoming annual publication, "360° Artists Against Violence," which will showcase the work of 360 artists from around the world. We believe that by using the power of art, we can make a difference in the world. Through this call for art, we aim to empower artists to make their voices heard and create a lasting impact on society. Together, let's break the cycle of violence against women and girls and make the world a safer and more equal place for all.
The selected artworks will be prominently featured in our flagship annual publication of the "360° book series, a celebration of creativity that honors the most innovative and thought-provoking works from around the world. This publication is a unique opportunity for artists to share their powerful messages and visions with a global audience that includes art collectors, gallerists, curators, and fellow artists but to also spark a powerful and emotive conversation about the theme that we have chosen - ending violence against women and girls. The theme of this year's publication - "Art Against Violence" - is a critical and urgent issue that demands attention, and by participating in this call for art, artists have the opportunity to use their creativity to help raise awareness and bring about change. As a token of our appreciation for their contribution to the art world, the selected artists will receive a certificate of recognition, recognizing their achievements and the impact of their work. We will also promote their works extensively across our social media platforms and website, increasing their exposure and visibility to a broader audience. This reward package is designed to empower artists, elevate their voices, and help them achieve the recognition and success they deserve.
To participate in the ‘Breaking the Cycle - End Violence Against Women and Girls’ call for art, sign up, create your portfolio, and submit your work. We encourage you to give us a precise description of your artwork, including the title, medium, and dimensions. Rather than focusing on a single submission, our jury team is always looking to find out more about every participating artist, so make sure you upload more of your work to your portfolio. We ask that you are thoughtful when selecting the artwork you submit, as we want to see the best of your work. Let your creativity shine through your submissions.
Our goal is to ensure a fair and transparent selection process that upholds the values of diversity and non-biased procedures. To achieve this, a diverse team of art professionals as well as field experts coming from NGOs and other related organisations who will contribute to our mission, will review and evaluate each submission based on its artistic merit, originality, and relevance to the theme. Each artwork is evaluated on its own merit and the selection was made based on the artistic excellence, originality, and relevance to the theme. The jury team is committed to ensuring that every submission received equal consideration and that the selection process was fair and objective. We understand the importance of giving a platform to emerging artists, which is why we aim to provide opportunities for artists at all stages of their career. Therefore, we are looking for submissions from both established and emerging artists. By bringing together a diverse range of voices, we believe that our publications will showcase the richness and depth of contemporary art.
